VoIP Suite
Current IP Communications technology permits home and small/medium sized businesses to use their network connection in novel ways.
VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) applications can treat voice, video, data, or facsimile as simple data, which may be packetized
and transmitted in real time over IP networks.
VOCAL's robust and comprehensive suite of software libraries provide the foundation for our VoIP Suite and
allow us to provide a complete VoIP solution across a wide variety of platforms. Our VoIP suite is fully integrated
and highly configurable, including a Network Stack, SIP Stack,
full-featured Telephony software, as well as a wide range of VoIP vocoders.
Together with SRTP, SDES, IPsec, and our
encryption libraries, VOCAL's VoIP software can ensure privacy and security of all communications.
VoCAL's Remote Access Server over IP™ (RASoIP™) solution is based on distributing the existing
concept of Remote Access Servers into the local analog telephone adapter (ATA) device in order to support applications which still
rely on legacy carrier switched voice circuits. Fax services (transmit and receive) may also be directly handled by a Distributed
Remote Gateway over IP™ (RGoIP™), or Distributed Gateway over IP™ (DGoIP™), which provides both data and fax modem
services directly in the home's ATA VoIP device.
Our VoIP Software Suite provides secure, next-generation, real-time voice and data communications over the Internet or any other IP
network. This includes Quality of Service (QoS) support, where efficient prioritization of existing bandwidth can
ensure exceptional voice quality and maximal data transmission.
Alternatively, this functionality is also available as part of our Reference Design Kit,
which provides a highly configurable hardware and software solution. By offering a complete software solution as
well as our state-of-the-art On-One™ DSP technology, VOCAL can provide unsurpassed
advantages in terms of cost and time-to-market.
